VERY VERY SPECIAL POLICE OFFICERS

I was going to a very special occassion I had been planning this for about 6 months it was the 50th anniversary of my sister inlaw.Here we were all dressed up and ready for the three hour trip to New York I was totally excited to be going as there were family members that I had not seen in over 10 years I was so very happy. My husband was decked out in his tux  and looking so very nice.  8;45 and we were on our way not even 15 minute  into the trip that the car over heats and so my husband said it possiably needed   water so the next thing I  knew we were stranded on the bridge just before we got to new jersey.Now I am frantic because my sister inlaw has spent all this money and went out of her way and here we were stranded with no signal on the phone  just absolutely nothing we sat there for only 25 minute when here comes this I think you call them troopers I call them officers. And they offer not only to push us off to new jersey but called some one to bring water and something that my husband needed for the car.officer Gilbert and officer Price were the tow nicest officer I have ever met not only were they helpful but so very understanding of our situation not only did they helpbut they both stayed there with us as mr Mike Russo helped with the water for the car and what ever else were needed . he was of the motor assistant proagram  of the delaware River port authority of Pennsylvania and new jersey I just want to make it know that they were exceptionally nice and I just wanted to thank them.  We never  made it to the  Anniversary party of family and friends whom were also disappointed that they were un able to see us there for as I said some of them I had not seen for ten years. as the officers pushed us we again overheated and then found another problem the fan belt had broken and that was the end od the trip to new york .  so here we were all dressed up and no way of getting there. the affair  got under way at around 12 and it was well after 1pm we thought of taking a bus to new york but by that time  the affair would be over. so I just got over it and tried to make my poor hubby smile  because  guess what it could have been worse I will also be putting this segment on my Blog radio station to again thank those three officers.

HOW ANGRY I AM

I have ranted and raved about this for a long time.My cable bill is outrageous I don't mind paying it I mind  that all the channels are playing the same thing over and over again every week and then thy switch the other cable channel start playing the same thing so for a full month you have movies that no one watches. because it is all repeats and so I watch movies that is on the channels that you pay for and guess what there is a problem there too. so what do you do get the old DVD player out and go to the red box and rent movies like the Heat and something  else that I rented oh yes it was an old movie that A friend gave to me It was once upon a time in america.I started exchanging movies with friends that way we get a variety of movies  to watch.

There is just something very strange about winning any thing especially things on the radio and I know because I and about 9 of my friends have tried for 6 months on a daily basis and some one of us should have won of my 9 friends 3 were male of his friend 7 were ladies for a total of 16 and none of us won but all the call in were ladies office workers and home makers and twice it sounded like the same lady bu cant be sure so I have to say maybe not. we all decided to enter another competition on the radio and  with in two weeks one of the gentleman won. Witha profit of $1,000  which was approximately 62 per person however we let him keep it all and he took us for drinks instead I still feel that the other was  atotl falsehood and this should not be.

MOVIE TV

So I am watching tv and it is about  3 am in the morning as my shift has changed I am up all night.I have cable as everyone do by now you can't watch tv like in the old days with out cable any way all the movie channels show the same thing some times the same things on two channels - even retro a channel that I really like show the same exact thing on their station how disapointing what happened to old but great movies like Total recall with Arnold,or kiss the girls ,shawshank redemption,.midnight cowboy all of sydney potier movies, hundred of movies both old and good new one  and even some of the british ones Mrs Marple, and by far the british movies are by far some of the best.I get so sick of the movie channelsStarz,hbo,encore, I pay good money for these channels and I am sure that others feel like me .so I started a movie night in my home where 8  of my friends come over and we watch 4 hors of movie 2 times a month . maybe that is the solution to these lousy chanels and when we want to see anew movie there is red box for $2_3and you can take it back the next day. the alterternative are better than switching channels.

 have this cat that from the time my husband gets up till the time he sits down to watch his sports the cat follows him around if my husbsnd go to the bathroom the cat will do the same I have had kittens all my lif but I have yet to see a cat that go to the bathroom when someone else is in the bathroom I ama favorite of cats that are like black with white around the collar I find then smart and always sweet disposition. this  cat is very aloof and he do not even pur he do not like to be picked up except by my hubby, it is the weirdest thing because my husband cant stand cats.
